70 Twinking in Patch 4.3 World of Warcraft
I’ve been Twinking at level 70 now since WotLK, and really, 4.3 doesn’t have that much of an effect on level 70 Twinks as I thought it would. There isn’t much new things happening. Here’s some questions I’ve been asked that I’d like to address and inform people about!
After Patch 4.3, With the Fire Mage buff, are Fire Mages now better than Frost Mages?
To those of you who are currently twinking at level 70, You know that Frost Mages are doing quite well at well.. everything! Well, I logged onto my mage after 4.3 to test the new Fire Buffs that were given in Patch 4.3, but really, I don’t see much of a difference! It’s a very tragic thing, because Fire is so much fun to play, but Frost still beats it!
Have they reduced the amount of honor needed for the Brutal Gladiator’s Set?
In order to start Twinking at level 70, you’ll still need 1900 Honor Points for the entire Brutal Set.
Does Transmogrification have any real effect on Level 70 Twinking?
With the addition of Transmogrification, alot of level 70s are transmogrifying their gear to look very low level, (Rogues, etc) Be on the lookout and just because that rogue looks like he’s wearing level 63 greens, it doesn’t mean that he really is!
Will it be easier or harder to get gear now that 85s have a reason to do Level 70 Raids other than to get an Achievement?
There’s also a very large increase in level 85s wanting to do low level 70 Raids, what this means is yes, there is an increase of Raids for you to go on for your gear, but there’s also a wholleee lot more competition on that epic tier piece! It’s going to be a lot harder getting gear now that Transmogrification has come out!
Why are there so many bright armored mounts now in the battlegrounds? How do you get one?

What effect does Darkmoon Island have on level 70 Twinking?
In 4.3, With the Darkmoon Island released, When you go and do 70 Battlegrounds, you have a chance at getting one of two Darkmoon Artifacts, which you can turn into the Darkmoon Faire, there is also a weekly quest that is at the Darkmoon Island that increases both of your trade skills (and first aid) by +5! So, to you guys at ~430 engineering that want to save alot of gold, head up to the Darkmoon Island and do a quest or two for the +5 Engineering skills.
What is the best class for level 70 Twinking in 4.3? What classes are on top/overpowered?
So who’s doing well in Patch 4.3? The best classes at the moment are Mages, Paladins, and Hunters. Followed closely by Rogues. If you’re wondering what is the best healer, alot of people prefer Discipline Priests, because of how high their bubble absorbs go, but in my opinion, Every healer is on equal grounds, they’re all amazing!
