All Points Bulletin: Reloaded (APB:R) Review
All Points Bulletin: Reloaded (APB:R) is an MMOFPS game that was made first by Realtime Worlds, under the name All Points Bulletin, It was a total fail because you couldn’t even spawn without getting killed by some random guy that payed for a giant bazooka to end everyone’s day. Realtime Worlds then went over because their game was SO bad that they went out of business. GamersFirst then re-did All Points Bulletin, Under the name All Points Bulletin: Reloaded (APB:R).
Is All Points Bulletin: Reloaded (APB:R) Good or Bad?
I give All Points Bulletin: Reloaded (APB:R) 4 out of 5 Stars, it’s a great game, but gives people who would like to pay to play the game an extreme unfair advantage over the people who play the game for free.
All Points Bulletin: Reloaded (APB:R) has really the -best- customization options I’ve ever seen in a game myself. You can customize your character, your clothes, and your car in ways never seen in any MMORPG or MMOFPS to date. Namely, you can actually create your own designs to put on everything, it looks absolutely fantastic and I love it!
How is the Combat System in All Points Bulletin: Reloaded (APB:R)?
The Combat System is very fun, but really focuses on Three main things: Close Range, Mid Range, and Long Range weapons.
Close Range weapons will always win no matter what if they can get close to you.
Mid Range weapons do okay all the time, they don’t really excel in anything.
Long Range weapons will always kill you if they’re far away from you.
There is an exception to all of these rules, which is the Pay Real Life Money option, and then you will get a Close Range weapon that can kill people in Mid Range, and a Mid Range weapon that does farrr better and can kill close range people, or a Long Range weapon that allows you to sprint and do everything that a Close Range weapon can do. Basically, if you pay Real Life Money in this game, you will gain an advantage over everyone.
Should you play All Points Bulletin: Reloaded (APB:R)? How does it relate compared to MMORPGS?
In my opinion, you should try it out, Steam is offering 10 free days of Premium and a free gun for people that play before December 19th, 2011. It’s a really great chance to try the game the way it’s meant to be played and get a good feel for it. Overall, if you want to play it in the long run, you’re going to need to cough up about $40 to get a really great gun.
