It’s very easy to get confused by this game. It has amazing music, amazing gameplay, and more but it’s frustratingly difficult when you realize that at any given time you can only come up with five words to type in while spiders run to DESTROY YOU. So here are some tips to not suck at the game. Here is the link to it.
The first step is to get a dictionary. The second step is to type words straight from that dictionary. The last step is to stack your boiler with letters that involve letters similar to the ones you’re typing in. See it’s not about the words you type, but about how stacked your deck is for the words you’re using.
Using word descramblers on the Internet (use google) you can use your available boiler letters to figure out some good long words that can use them. Get a list of 20 and rotate through them and the Word of the Day to be able to do anything. Get stuck? Farm letters on a map you’ve already completed.

That’s going to get you between 90+ damage. Stack for some of the letters in it and you should be able to hit you. Otherwise it’s random.
There you have it. Clockwords simplified. It’s also a bad game after 10 levels because you’re doing the same thing over and over again with no real strategy other than hoping you have strong enough words to beat it.
