Well first off here is Code Geass 24-25 HQ by Your-Mom. My understanding is that it’s not using a HQ raw (the standard t.v. size one), but has all of the glaring errors cleaned up out of the LQ release and combined into one download. If you’re still waiting on GG, they’re still subbing away and their release will be on their website. Season 2 info after the jump.
Code Geass Season 2 Episode 1 Preview
As for Season 2, it appears October 5th is actually incorrect. Japanese TV Guide has published an apology for setting the release date in stone, as of now there is no known release date for Season 2 other then “Fall 2007″. This can me two things. The first being that Code Geass may appear in the Spring 2008 slot. The other option is that it’ll be at an earlier date or it could be October 5th.

However, Sunrise is apparently release their new Gundam franchise this fall, meaning that they may not want it and Code Geass to go off at one another. This lowers our hopes that we may be able to see the second season this year. However, MoonPhase still lists Code Geass for Fall 2007 and with the cliffhanger you can only imagine that it should be sometime soon.
For those wondering about the ending for episode 25, there is one major thing that needs to be noticed:

I pray… with all my might… that they will cut off 24-25 and dub it a nightmare from Lelouch and just redo it. Because I have an awful feeling they are planning to make a movie for the end show, and 1 hr is still not enough. It clearly needs another 24 ep to expand the who,what,wher,when and how the chick got her powers, more appearence of the King of Britianna and such and such. [sigh] But, now, thanks to 24-25 I seriously doubt it’s even possible for this to happen. Aaaaagh this sux.
There will be a second season. It’ll come during the break with Gundam 00 we think. It has no announced timeslot or season yet other then “possible spring ‘08″.

… I was under the impression that what was trying to be said is that due to the Geass that Lelouch had inflicted onto Suzaku, which was simply “Live”, or “to live”… He would therefore die if he killed the source of his liveliness, namely Lelouch and his Geass power.
As for my own opinion on the matter, I would not think they would make Suzaku actually kill him, because :
For the main factor, Lelouch’s entire raisson d’etre, as they say in the series, is for his younger sister, Nannalies’ happiness. If that bomb were to go off, I would imagine she, being in the same general area (not underestimating Lelouch’s grandiose demeanor EG: mask, cloak) would too blow up with the explosion. Keep in mind that the entire series has been based off of this ambition of his. If they killed him in a way that she would die, they might as have done it in that episode and ended the series there.
Furthermore, what would the I-have-lesbian-tendencies, megabomb-wielding psychogirl do? I highly doubt they would build up her character so far with such previously mentioned tendencies to have her curl up in a corner with the corner and die off(masturbate with the bomb, maybe?)
Just my opinion. Venting at having to wait, like every one else.

If she dies Lelouch will not loose his reason to fight, infact he might be consumed by the idea of revenge.

ok number one thing. Lousch used his geass twice on suzuku due to the geass went out of control. He used it on him once saying to live. The other time his geass did it for him on suzuku at that episode when the other geass user was playing chess with suzuku. Here is one more thing. He may use it on karen too, since his geass is currently out of control. He can turn it around by making karen still follow him. Do not forget karen can kill suzuku.
I know everyone wants to see the second season but I was doing some research on the manga. I am not going to spoil it for you. Because i do not know if lousch lives or dies. But i will tell you this nanaly lives on.

it is a sequel to what you are watching but its a big spoiler of what I just told you. Mao’s isn’t the same as Lelouch. His can’t be turned off and he went insane because he has a different geass power which is to read minds in a 500 m. So technically his geass works on everyone forever. Lelouch Geass on the other hand one works once.
Knightmare of Nunnally/nightmare of Nunnally is another story. Nunnally getting a geass and new body is an alternate reality(meaning what if). Where Nunally is the geass user instead of Lelouch. It’s a pretty good alternate reality.
Theres also Suzaku of the Counter-Rebellion or something.
In season 2 it’ll probably be different.
Lulu has already used his Geass on himself. Unless his second eye gets one then I doubt he has the power to Geass himself again unless he can use it on himself as many times as he wants or C.C. can reset it or there is a time reset.
October 5th is wrong (it was right then changed), it’s going to be after Gundam 00’s mid-season break most than likely. If not after Gundam 00 which won’t finish until lol October of 08. Sunrise won’t have two shows going at once.
Lelouch and Light are very similar in that they believe the end justifies the means. Lelouch will easily kill allies if it means his goal is met. Light will easily kill innocent people to make sure his perfect world is created even if it goes against his perfect world. Both can be seen as hypocrites.
Knightmare of Nunnaly is a spinoff comic and we’re screwed if that is the sequel. Suzaku of the counter attack is a possible thing but I doubt they’ll go that direction since Lulu is what sells the series the most. People really like evil guys who are the heroes.

yeah. the only reason i originally watched Code Geass was because of Lelouch/Zero and the Knightmares. actually, my personal favorite moment was when lelouch accidently told Euphemia to slaughter the Japanese. the irony was amazing. and if they killed off Lelouch/Zero, who would in the end slaughter the brittanians?

about the contract between c.c. and lelouch…what exactly are the terms? i don’t think c.c.’s real name has been revealed yet, so i won’t bother asking…and who is v.v.? as expected of CLAMP… one of the most complex anime i’ve ever watched-i give it A lol
he’s not going to die because he kills lelouch; the geass only activates when suzaku is in a situation where his life is threatened.
well, if lelouch dies the sakuradite bomb goes off a few feet away from suzaku, and i dont think suzaku is invunerable to explosions…
and oh yeah, lelouch cant use geass on karen to save his life; he used it on her already…
what i think is lelouch cant bring himself to shoot suzaku, suzaku on the other hand cant shoot lelouch bcoz of geass, so both lives ^^

Well its an awesome ending, I actualy had a stream rigged up so I watched it live as it was broadcast, the got a sub later but I was watching open mouthed the whole time.

It’s awesome, C.C seems to belive she is going to die at the end (she won’t but she seems to think she will). I am just wondering where they can go from this - will Lulu have to split from the Black Knights and start again? Will the Black Knight’s die of shame knowing their one successful rebellion was lead by a teenaged ex-Prince?
I think it will be interesting to see how Ougi reacts after this, he was shot as Zero fled and Zero can’t be popular at the end so will have to come up with one hell of a story when he goes back….. I think if he claims Brittania had a cache of the SakuraditeFission warheads ready to fire and he went to take care of them would do it?
But Karren….. if he does that and kills Suzaku then she is going to be the sword over his head by a thread if he let’s her live…. after killing Suzaku he probably won’t be willing to do that, so we just have to watch and wait in the meantime
I have a question wouldn’t the geass that Lelouch use on Suzaku so that he would continue living prevent Suzaku from killing Lelouch since Lelouch said he would die if he killed him.
i have two theories
1.kerrin goes insane and tries to shoot lulu, becuase of the geass on suzaku he dosen’t shoot lulu and instead saves him from a crazed kerrin who was about to shot him. (which would activate the bomb and kill suzaku which goes agianst the geass used on him.)
2.(more likely in my mind)suzaku shoot at lulu but misses (due to his geas) and hits nannaly instead. then some how v.v. rescues suzaku, and give him his own geas (as i believe v.v. has the same power as c.c.). which will then turn the second seiries into lulu/suzaku of revenge, were it will be lul and suzaku trying to kill eachother.
although i actually liked the idea of makeing “nightmare of nannaly” into the second series, i’d rather have lulu as he is what make the seires what it is.

I think you can pretty much throw out the second theory because nunally is probably beyond that big door lulu was trying to open before suzaku got there.
My theory is that suzaku will miss and that lulu will shoot but not kill suzaku. As for karin anything could happen with her.
But one thing i don’t get is why karin is so freaked out at first when she finds out zero is lulu.

I was wondering the same thing, cuz she freaks out that he “used the Japanese,” but whats her basis for saying that? Simply because he isn’t Japanese she assumes that he was using them? (And he did use them for his goal of killing his father, but obviously she doesn’t know that). And simply the shock of him being her classmate doesn’t warrant that much of a spaz attack.
I kinda wish that they would have hinted to Suzaku’s suspicions of Lelouch being Zero a bit more. When he said he had kept himself in denial, I was kinda thinking…. uh, yeeeaaah, you acted the whole time like you didn’t have a clue. :/
Neither Suzaku or Lelouch can die for the fact that CLAMP had a part in this and if either of the boys died, where would the homoerotic tension that CLAMP is so famous for be? (Yes, second season has a new pretty boy with purple eyes, but he looks a little TOO queer to fill the spot in the same way).

You’re wrong. The geass effect on Suzaku is to live, but if the geass user is killed, there’s no proof that Suzaku will suddenly lose that will. As far as what’s known, all geass effects are permanent.
To prove my point, Lelouch illustrates this on many occasions, and it doesn’t make sense that with his death, the change he made to the neural synapses would differ.
Instead, what will kill Suzaku is the bomb strapped to Lulu’s chest which he states, “Will detonate if his heart stops.”
Also, I know for a fact that Lulu doesn’t die. Karen fired the shot.
Nanali gained a geass that allows her to see the future, and that image of her in shock shows her seeing Suzaku being shot by Karen.
Code Geass Season two will be majorly awesome. I’m pumped to see the continuation of the series - taking on the “Nightmare of Nanali” part of the manga. It’ll be majorly awesome.
