Code Geass R2 Episode 3 Summary

The Academy of Imprisonment: Some websites, or even on youtube you can download and watch this episode. For those like myself and can’t wait, especially if you have dialup, can’t help but want to know what happens. This summary is for the second kind. With out spoiling it yet, episodes 1-2 we’ve already seen Rolo, and the other affiliates. Today sparks a bit of drama but not heavily. Now for the real summary, skip to the jump!

At the beginning of the episode we see Rolo about to us his Geass. Instead he is interrupted by Lelouch calling him with a calm but concerned tone. A ‘Zero’ broadcasting his speech on television on his plans. Ms. Villetta informing him of the fact that Lelouch is indeed inside the school. Combining the information- making Lelouch appear innocent, Rolo dismisses his actions of proceeding into the Chinese Federal Embassy.

Even though Rolo leaves, the news cast and others are certain that The Order of The Black Knights reside inside the Chinese Federal Embassy. Kallen mentions to ‘Lelouch’ that they had caused quite a stir, while watching the news. The ‘Zero’ behind her, pulling off the helmet to reveal herself- C.C. agrees. This leaves Kallen a little bit in an awkward moment. Not only that but maybe even hurt that she didn’t know Lelouch’s plans of switching so Lelouch could appear to being normal things at school at the scene of the crime.

Like wearing a cute, pink cooking apron! TOTALLY NORMAL! Everyone is acting their usual self except Lelouch keeps pondering about his missing sister Nunally, and how she was so easily replaced by Rolo. Merely we roll along, aye?

Speaking of the devil, Rolo walks into the meeting headquarters of those working to surveillance Lelouch and C.C. if possible. A little hint is given as Rolo plays with his locket. The people of the room have a discussion on whether Lelouch has returned to himself, but doubting C.C. has come in contact with him. The conclusion for them all was just to insist on keeping an eye on Lelouch.

Lelouch still drifting off into mental space encounters Rolo and Ms. Villetta in the hallway. Knowing he already used Geass on Villetta he thinks to himself of using Rolo sometime in the near future.

The Order of the Black Knight continuously try to defend the area that they are at behind the Chinese Federal Embassy, but end up facing Suzaku in his KnightMare, Lancelot. Suzaku singlehandedly takes them out.

Lelouch is back at school going through the pictures noticing Nunally is in none of them, and among things Lelouch was thinking of… Someone who apparently has a way of appearing just when you’re thinking of him. Nunally’s replacement Rolo. Lelouch explains to Rolo how he got out of the Babel tower, but then asks Rolo for his locket that he gave him, saying he could get him something else. Rolo instantly expresses not wanting to give it back because he values it very much. Shocking, hm?

For someone so attached to a locket, Rolo when talking to Ms. Villetta on some plans is interrupted by a man that instantly tries to pardon himself. Rolo simply takes man’s life before Ms. Viletta can tell him not to. Stopping time and ending it swiftly. The mortified Ms. Villetta asks him how many more members of their plans he has killed, and he changes the topic to how he admires his skill to killing people most efficiently.

A part that could not be skipped so easily is Kallen being teased by C.C. when Kallen had rushed out in a towel not realizing others might see her. C.C. ending the teasing with, “We can see,” when Kallen’s towel nearly slips off. Though that doesn’t change how they were all talking about informative matters at hand. The lovely scene is interrupted when an Order of the Black Knights’ member screaming at the top of his longs that Ohgi and the rest of the other pilots of their KnightMares have been captured.

Indeed they have been. Lelouch catches Gilbert’s warning of their execution if Zero did not show up to challenge him, on the television at their school. Not certain how to escape the surveillance, he is fortunately informed by a sudden complaint by Shirley that she doesn’t know what to get Ms. Villetta. Lelouch offers to help and Shirley instantly accepts his offer. Rolo gets dragged by Milly and Rivals into him spying on Lelouch. They excuse that this should also be Rolo’s interest since it might mean a possible new family member.

Lelouch notices instantly that they are spying on them, but uses his time wisely to separate himself from some other spies he also noticed. He sets the whole shopping area into a panic with a prank he was helped with by Shirley. Shirley really only thought it was a prank between him and Milly. Rolo, after the surprise panic at the shopping area rushes into the head quarters seeing no one around till he turns to see a gun. It’s Lelouch. Things are turned around, soon enough! Rolo steals Lelouch’s fire arm and tells Lelouch to die.

Meanwhile at the Chinese Federal Embassy, a certain ‘new character’ ends the episode with his determination that all Orders of the Black Knights would be destroyed where they were.
