I’m not going to include pictures for the next few entries as I want to catch up with the massive back log on all of the awesome shows out there. Anyway, if you don’t know where to download Nanoha by now then well you fail. Why? There is like a BILLION fansubers taking on Nanoha each aiming for quality.
On with the review. I found episode one of Nanoha StrikerS, the sequel to the famous Nanoha and Nanoha A to be a little… boring. Now, this isn’t a bad thing, but it wasn’t very exciting. We were introduced to two new characters and the entire episode focused around their development. Their attacks were displayed along with their ability. The fact that they aren’t very aware of their surroundings was also also include.
Now, I said this was fine because there was action but it wasn’t the good burning justice kind. It was more of introducing the new characters. That slowness really kind of got to me. It however was a good episode based purly on the fact they took the time to introduce these new characters.
Yeah, a lot of anime will just shove new characters in out of nowhere. You won’t get any advancement past “they are mysterious”. Kind of like how Nanoha A added in the German group who only had advancement towards the end.
None of the previous characters return outside of Hayate, Fate, Nanoha, and Reinforce. More come in episode 2, but as I said this episode was kind of slow.
I give it the rating of B just for the slowness. Not unexpected of Nanoha who takes time to set-up (hehe) everything.
