Ah farming Kongregate Achievement Points. How much of a skill is that? Relaxing, playing games you like, all that other cool stuff. Here is an old game that had a lot of promise and a sequel, but then disappeared. Mardek RPG. Mardek 3 is coming out, soon, apparently, but how many people have said that?
Mardek RPG has a great story, it’s funny and in-depth, and the kind of thing you expect from someone who is good at RPG Maker.
It’s pretty long but short, you don’t get much and there isn’t a lot to do. The intro, much like cake, is a lie but the humor is pretty good.
Here is a brief walkthrough of it, if you need one:
Fighting the dragon, just do whatever, you’re way too awesome to lose.
Afterwards, you’ll be kids and you’ll want to go to town. Go to your house, then leave your house. Go up to the guy in the top right and do the sewer quest. Go into the sewers and fight rats for 5 lead pipes (get your achievement and an OK item). Then you can go into the forest. The forest is pretty long, but simple. Explore around opening chests until you reach a boss. Fight it, then continue and the game is pretty much over. Oh, go back to town and to your house after the part with the alien.
I’ll showcase Mardek 2 at some point, I think. Won’t that be fun?
