Fantasy Dimensions

Sadly we’re still doing the no pictures today as I catch up on all anime. I’m going to switch up the format a little, though.

Murder Princess is a new OVA from Bee Train who were involved the .hack series, GUNxSWORD, Haibane Renmei, Honey and Clover, and Noir. Well and a few other things. Murder Princess is an OAV releasing once a month and is a rather interesting show. In Japanase it’s called “マーダープリンセス” or literally “Murder Princess”.

Episode Review:

Murder Princess episode one is fairly decent for an anime that came out of nowhere. It’s got wonderful art, interesting plot, and fairly decent characters. It’s got some sex change stuff, which generally sucks, but at least it’s kind of give and take.

Not that this is a plot anime, since the action was super sweet. The music was interesting and the character designs were nice. I’m going to go ahead and be critical about the lack of well more interesting things to say then “it was interesting”.

I’d give it a B just because I’m going to continue watching.

Plot Summary:

The show starts off with the kingdom of Foreland under attack by mystery forces. As it advances on we see the princess Alita fleeingthe castle while her stand in and knights continue to defend the throne room. Alita is fleeing when she falls over a cliff with another man, well a bounty hunter named Fallis to be exact. When they land they find their bodies switched, Alita is now in Fallis’s male body and Fallis is in Alita’s female (princess) body.

Fallis rushes back to the castle to retake the kingdom and implant himself as princess. After the defeat of two robot lolis (lololol) and all the other creatures the attackers were using he faces the evil scientist out to take the kingdom….

… or is he? Well, that’s pretty much the end.
