Finally Nodame Catabile getts some action put into it. Not much, find you but more then nothing. Milche finally starts having a purpose, they have an interesting plot coming up, and Nodame will finally have her shot with Chiaki in a quiet place soon. What’s more interesting is that we’ll soon start having some direction with Chiaki’s problem.
I liked this episode, considering it’s just another slice of life anime. It’s got good direction, picks up from episode 7’s awesomeness and still is interesting. Which is a little hard to say about a lot of slice of life anime.
The characters this episode interacted with one another really well and I found that overall the previous episodes progression (introducing new characters) is finally paying off. While Chiaki is the main focus, we’re getting constant interaction from everyone else.
There isn’t much more to say about this episode, no rant on how GREAT it is (since it’s pretty good but not GREAT) nor on how bad it is. I think that, if they keep this up, this series will end on a good note.
I may try to watch the live action series, just to see what’s up, but I kind don’t want to spoil the anime or become someone who is like “THAT WAS SO MUCH BETTER IN THE LIVE ACTION.”
If I was using numbers 7-8/10.
