Click here to download the raw for episode 11 (raw as in straight from Japan without subs meaning no translation). What’s cool about raws, especially Zero-Raws (whenever they’re good rips), is that you can use the soft subs from GG to see the episode seconds after GG releases it instead of waiting in an endless bot queue or a slow torrent that has hours to go. The directions are as follows.

Download the raw and make sure it’s a good one. Zero-Raws generally will provide the best and most GG compliant however they are not always (anything with commercials is bad – real bad, you’ll have to retime the subs after each commercial break (there are 2) and that goes beyond the scope of this guide.) The raw will be out way before the subs (by usually by 10 to 18 hours) so you can have the episode ready.

Now, navigate to GG’s script directory right here. Download the script and place the RAW and the script in the same directory. Now rename both files to, for instance for episode 11, something along the lines of Code Geass Episode 11.ass and Code Geass Episode 11.avi. It doesn’t matter what you name them as long as the .ass and the .avi (the script and movie file) are named the same.

Open the movie and enjoy! If your raw is off by a few milliseconds or even one second you shouldn’t have a problem. If your raw has commercials or is off by a second then you’re going to have mistimed subs. This is the bad thing about this system. In this case I suggest rushing the bots before others do to grab the packed episode by GG, download GG via torrent, or learn how to retime the subs with ffdshow and all.

The China arc is rushed and without proper translation I don’t know what the fuck. Anya at the end along with another knight of the round is in Ashford with Lelouch and the maid was indeed cosplaying as him. He does win a victory in the end by bringing out his own suit with a keyboard and all this other awesome shit. The politics of the situation are defined by the speaking, but there were some hardcore badass moments in the fight.

Next episode is a budget episode with Cornelia returning.

The Garden Of Sinners – Theatrical Feature 1: Fukan Fukei the anime theatrical series was something that I came across by accident, but intrigued me, so I thought I’d share it with our viewers. The first chapture, ‘Fukan Fukei,’ was made 2007, but the series itself is from a story from the internet. Getting into the gritty details.

Brush up on what you can expect from this anime is the many uses of metaphors. They’re non-stop, from use of a dream or a direct literal use. For those who don’t want to go ahead and look up the meaning, “Fukan Fukei,’ it means, “A view from above.” Another used of metaphors that are expressed visually through the beginning credits. A weary butterfly following an energetic dragonfly.

As they can use these symbolical images, or messages some might start to ponder if this anime is combined with action, fantasy, supernatural, or fable. It is. This is but one of a few of their episodes.

Continue to get to know the main characters:

The main characters are always an important part of an story so let’s say hello to Shiki Ryōgi. Not shown in this movie, Shiki is a young teenager who has a male ‘personality.’ Getting into the details about her, Shiki’s family usually hade male children with two personalities. A young woman with a stubborn attitude. The only person that seems to ever change her mind on the most simplest things is the ever so calm, pretty boy -”Mikiya Kokutō,” of this story. Might be because she has feelings for him?

I did say this was a supernatural and perhaps even fictional anime, so what makes it that way? Well what other could we do than have our character have the ability to kill almost anything by just looking at them? That’s an exaggeration, but her eyes have a skill, called the Mystic Eyes of Perception, that allows her to see the very spots that can destroy any being. At least we assume.

Mikiya Kokutō, our… actual male character is seen from the very beginning as a caring and calm friend of Shiki. Whether he is searching just to teach Shiki with all his ‘metaphorical’ uses or to be her possible best friend is hard to define. However, it’s most likely there is a… thing. He promised to go to college with Shiki but a turn of events sends Shiki into a coma and changes the possibilities, to his dismay. Strangely this man is head over heals about a certain empty doll. The creator of the doll, Tohko Aozaki is then introduced by Mikiya’s fascination over the doll.

Tohko Aozaki, the doll maker, and an expert needed in aiding Shiki. Shiki for now is known to have a wooden like arm that would be similar to a doll’s only moderated to work with her functioning body movements and covered in a material to look like skin. She is both help for metaphorical amusement, craftsmanship, and a supernatural inspector. Though there really isn’t any sign of her in this movie that she does come in contact with supernatural business. Though she and Mikaya share the same interest of the sort, and also share a building.

The plot of the video:

Shiki, and Tohko- nothing more than bystanders to gain information from the media come across an interesting case of a continuous pattern in suicides of high school girls. There’s no connection between any of them, mental problems, or even a note left one them. Though their friend, Mikaya seems to be out cold for a good portion of the film, and might have been involved with the case. The only thing that the girls have in common is being female, from a high school, and jumping off the same building.

Mostly, suicides are selfish attempts to get noticed, and if not to get noticed then to leave nothing but not be noticed. This would have justified a hint of confusion as to why the girls were doing it, since they didn’t have any connection, conspiracy, or medical problems. Something had to connect. Shiki actually takes interest in the case after some convincing with Tohko, and searches the area, and discovers what may lead to help the inspection. However she also discovers the uncontrolled numbers of deaths.

Every time she visits the site she experiences further information. You’d kind of wonder why she didn’t at least stay, but maybe the deaths kept happening just each night, and who has the time for that? Being too late the first time she only looks above the building to see a bunch of figures. She counts eight and assumes this may be the number to be expected to be killed.

Code Geass R2: Lelouch of the Rebellion (Season 2 Episode 1) Preview

Whew boy do we have something good for you. Code Geass season two is out OUT and while we have no subs or any promises of subs we’ve got one dozy of an episode. The preview is obviously filled with spoilers so I’ve placed all of the important details after the jump. If you want to be spoiled and can’t wait for subs then go on ahead and click “read more”. If you don’t see such a link and you see a wall of text below than click away, quickly, because episode one spoilers are coming.

Welcome back. Last time to run away from the spoilers!

The episode starts with C.C. alive and the resistance still working and then switches over to Lelouch in school. Viletta(sp) is the gym teacher. Lelouch runs around for a bit. Then we see the new op. ORANGE-KUN RETURNS IN THE OPENING. ALLLLL HAILLLLL ORANNNGGEEEEE.

Lolo is there too, bleh. Moving on we’ve got the start of episode one of Code Geass season two still with us. They’re showing executions of elevens for some reason… Diethard and the scientist lady are wanted (like the previews shown) while everyone else but C.C. is “captured” and they assume Zero is dead. Lelouch has lost his memory.

Lelouch goes gambling and the black knights assault the place they’re gambling. TONS of fighting, lolo (or rolo) drops Lulu to his death. He lives, reaches the bottom where C.C. is at, C.C. talks for a bit, then the Britannia forces show up, they kill C.C., lulu flips out, they burn the bodies, C.C. and Lulu touch ala ep 1 right before he dies. THEN he gets his memory and geass back and then WE GET LELOUCH COMMANDS YOU TO DIE. They shoot each other with the main villain shooting himself in the head.

In the end, he takes back over the order of the black knights with his memory in tact. Start season 2 of Code Geass!

Jump Ultimate Stars Review

Jump Ultimate Stars is a game for the Nintendo DS developed by Ganbarion and published by Nintendo. It’s a fighting game similar to Super Smash Bros. Melee featuring a large amount of characters from Weekly Shonen Jump. It is a direct sequel to Jump Super Stars (ジャンプスーパースターズ). It is rated “C” on the CERO system. That is basically a PG13 or “15+” or “16+” on whatever system is being used.

The game, as mentioned earlier, features almost the full cast from Weekly Shonen Jump ranging from Naruto, Bleach, One Piece to Gintama and Dragonball Z. Each various series has a cast of characters that can be chosen to be played as either actual combatants, helpers (who come in, do something, leave), or as a form of a passive buff to one character or all. These characters are referenced as koma and come in those three types (battle koma (actual combatants), help koma (helpers), and support koma (passive buff).

These “koma” are laid out on a board and are arranged like pages of a manga. These are considered a “deck” or “panel”. You can choose different kinds or for some missions the game has a pre-set one already made for you. The fight plays out very Super Smash Bros. Melee like with you battling, using helpers, switching characters, and doing other things with the characters from Shonen Jump.

The game is completely awesome. For instance, you can be Goku. Fighting your enemies, you summon Light Yagami from Death Note. He writes their names down in his Death Note and they die 10 seconds later (we assume 45 in the game). Then, you switch Gintama. You hop on your scooter and dash into 3 enemies pushing 2 of them off the cliff. These enemies of course are Naruto, Luffy, and Vegeta.

This kind of gameplay is just amazing. For the DS that is. Each match usually lasts no more then 3 minutes so you can play, put down, pick up, play some more, put down. You don’t need to know much Japanese (but I urge an FAQ for assembling decks do you know what you’re doing). Doing Kenshin’s ultimate attack, followed by Goku’s Spirit Bomb, followed by some good ‘ol Death Note action is amazing.

If you can import and are even a remote fan of Shounen Jump I’d pick this up. If you don’t like Shounen Jump then I can understand skipping it. If you’re netural I would still say get it for the fun the fighting game presents however it’s way more enjoyable if you know a few of the characters (like Naruto and One Piece).

Upgrading your characters, unlocking new stages, and just battling will consume a ton of time. I think I’ve put about 5 hours into it and am at the second stage of worlds. Although I’m doing a lot of collecting and mission completing. There is just a lot to do.

It’s kinda expensive, ranging between 30 and 50 bucks imported. It’s also only for the Nintendo DS and not everyone has one of those (shame on you). You should get it though.

If I had a solid rating system, I’d say 5 out of 5 or 9 out of 10. It’s just a really solid game. Only thing lacking, of course, is the music. Totally not gar enough.
