    Episode starts where 21 left off. Simon is in space and they start kicking all kinds of major ass. The moon attacks and Simon pretty much defeats the moon. That's right. Well, the anti-spirals pull out their ultimate attack locking the Gurren Lagann away from the Arc Gurren. So Simon hits maximum spiral energy, breaks through, and gattai's with the Arc Gurren forming the Arc Gurren Lagann breaking free of its bonds.
