This was a flag design that won the Telegraph’s online poll for adding the welsh dragon to the Union Jack. Winning by a complete landslide the Gurren Lagann flaming skull logo officially won one of the U.K.’s largest media source’s online polls for the newest flag to represent the union. The irony is thick, since Gurren Lagann is all about the union.
Of course the majority of the votes for the flag were nothing more than Japan voicing it’s opinion on what the holy empire of Britannia should use for their flag. I ponder if Lelouch ever takes over Britannia if he’d consider flying such an honorable flag?
Here is an artist’s rendition of Kamina enjoying some of Europe’s fine coffee.
Exactly. If you want to read more (including the awesome ZnT flag) go to the telegraph.
It was announced that in two years we’ll have a Gurren-Lagann spin-off (likely a second season of Gurren-Lagann that follows someone else’s story).
These details were also released:
Viral is a shark with some feline properties.
Simon and Nia were not virgins.
Adiane used to play beach volleyball with Nia.
Ā TTGL was in Super Spiral Space and really wasn’t throwing galaxies around.
Drill is nothing more then a symbol for “soul”.
Nia is the biological daughter of Genome and wasn’t culled from
one of the camps.
Simon is the strongest spiral warrior in the universe.
The glasses were in honor of both Kittan and Kamina.
Nia and Simon stayed together a week after their return, before the wedding.
Nia is the thinnest girl in Gurren Lagann (what otaku asked this stupid question).
There is probably more, but that’s the important stuff. So a possible second season will be within two years. Hooray! I guess. The mediocre ending still is blah though.
Gurren Lagann Episode 25 just aired and I have to say the episode was so fantastic that not even Diebuster or Gunbuster or hell Dancouga can touch Gurren Lagann anymore. GaoGaiGar may stand a chance still if the ending doesn’t turn out to be any good but it is looking like it wont have a chance.
As a spoilerless review I will just say 15 manly burning passion robots out of 5. That awesome.
Episode 24 has been aired and subbed by either ADTRW or BSS by now. If you haven’t see it, get out there and get it. Seriously, Gurren Lagann 24 is amazing and there is little to no reason to not watch it.
That said, the following will contain spoilers. Read more after the jump.
As with any preview, there are spoilers (read only to be spoiled) and I don’t know very much Japanese so take for that what you will. The actual preview is after the jump.
While not able to speak Japanese I will say that episode 22 doesn’t need much language outside of one section. All it needs is pretty much awesome. Preview after the jump. Continue reading ‘Gurren lagann Episode 22 Preview’
